A large number of aid organizations, advice centers and social services often do important and valuable work behind the scenes. The topics for which suitable services are available are diverse and in view of the large number of refugees in Germany, who are often traumatized or have to deal with stressful fates, the work of people in this area is all the more important. Telephone and video interpreting makes an important contribution to ensuring that those affected and the people helping them really understand each other. The social and intercultural skills of LingaTel interpreters also help to build bridges.

Our solution
Counseling centers for pregnancy and pregnancy conflict offer support during pregnancy and around birth. They advise and support women and couples in pregnancy conflict, but women, men and couples can also seek advice on sexuality, family planning and childbirth regardless of whether they are already pregnant. As many of those affected do not have sufficient command of the German language, interpreters contribute to understanding on all sides.
Our interpreters are specially trained for sensitive conversations and support the counselors with a great deal of empathy and sensitivity.
For interpreting assignments in the area of sexuality, we recommend using our range of gender-selected telephone interpreters and video interpreters.
Under the name of city missions, there are now regional church staff congregations, various diaconal works and facilities as well as pastoral and missionary initiatives.
City missions are subject to constant change. They react flexibly to the respective social and spiritual emergencies in their cities, always pursuing the goal of helping the poor and people on the margins of society.
Due to the large number of refugees in Germany, the social workers at the City Mission often have to deal with people with stories of refuge. LingaTel supports the city missions in communicating with non-German-speaking people in need and enables efficient and targeted measures to enable people affected by acute housing, financial or food shortages to lead a self-determined life.
There are also poor, homeless and hungry people in Germany. Particularly often affected are recipients of unemployment benefit II or social welfare, older people, but also single parents, asylum seekers and refugees.
Homeless people can receive help at social advice centers, daytime meeting points for the homeless, specialist centers for housing emergencies or at food distribution points. Language barriers can make the work of the helpers considerably more difficult. With its spontaneous telephone and video interpreting service, LingaTel offers a simple solution to provide the best possible help to all people, regardless of the language they speak.
