Our goal has always been to bring language mediation closer to people by providing language mediators quickly and flexibly and making qualified interpreters available spontaneously via telephone and video.
We understood very early on that a professional telephone and video interpreting service must be built on three essential pillars.
A stable, highly secure and modern technical infrastructure is required to efficiently manage a huge number of interpreters, reliably transfer incoming calls based on a database and at the same time remain reliable and easy to use. LingaTel uses a system that has been continuously developed and tested over many years and is designed to be redundant, fail-safe and scalable as required.
A sufficiently large pool of contractually bound, trained interpreters who are committed to confidentiality is required to be able to handle a wide variety of assignments on a 24-hour basis and spontaneously. All interpreters used by LingaTel are qualified and have the appropriate certification.
Interpreters are regularly tested and undergo further training to maintain a consistently high level of interpreting quality. In addition, the interpreters receive topic-specific online training before their first assignment as part of the assignment, in which they are informed about the individual special features and the expected subject areas.
