LingaTel attaches great importance to ensuring that all provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation and the respective national laws are complied with when interpreting. This applies both to the organization itself and to the interpreters. LingaTel takes all necessary measures to protect your data. The confidentiality of the conversation content is ensured during the use of the service. To this end, all necessary technical and organizational measures are taken to ensure that no data content is disclosed. Interpreters are also subject to a duty of confidentiality, which ensures that all documents and information relating to an assignment are treated as strictly confidential and are not passed on to third parties or used in any other way.
LingaTel GmbH has introduced an information security management system in accordance with DIN ISO/IEC 27001:2017. This system helps to manage risks in the handling of information and data in the company. The standard describes comprehensive security measures that must be evaluated and implemented appropriately. All areas of the company get considered, from sales to support services, and the information systems used are also examined.
The security measures include, for example, organizational measures such as regular employee training and the clean desk policy as well as technical measures such as user role concepts for systems, data backups and system monitoring (known as TOMs). All legal requirements such as data protection laws and customer and partner requirements are also considered.
The planned security measures are reviewed and evaluated through regular internal audits and external audits by certification companies. This allows improvement measures to be derived to continuously make processes and products more secure.
Thanks to our ISO 27001 certification and the independent confirmation of our security measures, we can offer a reliable basis in terms of data protection and data security.

Data protection and data security must be treated with the utmost sensitivity, particularly in connection with interpreters and their assignments. It is essential that the necessary awareness of this issue is constantly raised, not only among internal employees, but above all among the interpreters deployed. This is the only way to reliably rule out security risks in connection with the interpreters.
The necessary contractual basis for this is always created in advance. Every call remains under the control of the LingaTel platform until the end and therefore no direct telephone numbers or SIP addresses of the client or interpreter are visible to the other party.
All processes relating to the handling of interpreters and the use of technology are also subject to auditing in connection with ISO 27001 and 9001 certification and have been assessed as secure.
